The BPSC DSO / Assistant Director Examination 2025 follows a structured and competitive selection process designed to evaluate candidates’ academic knowledge, analytical skills, and subject-specific expertise. The recruitment exam consists of two main stages: a written examination and a personal interview. Candidates must qualify in both stages to secure final selection.

The written examination comprises objective-type questions with multiple-choice answers. The paper is divided into two parts: General Studies and Subject-Specific Paper (Statistics/Economics/Mathematics based on the candidate’s academic background). The General Studies paper includes topics such as current affairs, history, geography, Indian polity, and general mental ability.
